Spotlight On: The Daily Planet, Melbourne

You won’t see Clark Kent typing madly away, but you will enjoy the company of more than 100 beauties at The Daily Planet in Melbourne.

If being crowned Best Overall Brothel in Australia five times isn’t enough to get you through the door, read on…

THE HISTORY

Formerly a massage parlour called Le Chateau, the property has gone through a number of renovations since it was purchased in 1975.  “It’s now the biggest brothel in the Southern Hemisphere,” says David, proud owner of the premises.  “In 1975, the business spanned three house lengths—now it spreads across six!”
With several million dollars spent over a number of years on spectacular enhancements, it’s not hard to see why The Daily Planet has become Australia’s premier bordello, with in excess of 500 patrons each week.

THE RUNDOWN

If you’re unsure of what to do in such an establishment… “On coming through the doors, you’ll find a reception area, and that’s where I am,” says Lois Lane, The Daily Planet’s friendly receptionist.

“I fill the guest in on the prices, and I then arrange for a hostess to take first-time guests on a tour to see what The Daily Planet has to offer.”
On offer are a handful of free facilities, including a fully-stocked bar, pool tables, arcade machines and a jukebox. “Guests are welcome to sit in The Daily Planet lounge room and mingle with our sexy ladies, and if they meet
a service provider who they like, they simply hand them a card and they adjourn to the room that the guest has booked,” explains Lois.  “Regulars usually just call ahead to book their room.”
“You’d be surprised at the people who just keep coming back for more,” enthuses David. “Couples, threesomes, and once we even had a whole soccer team visit!”
As well as being a brothel, The Daily Planet is also a premier boutique hotel. “If men are not after sex and just want a lovely place to stay in Melbourne, then they’re most welcome to book a room for a night or two,” says Lois.

THE ROOMS

In total, 18 suites are available, offering guests various luxurious facilities, such as two and four-person showers, eight-seat spas, and beds large enough to accommodate a small group or couples eager to live out a fantasy.
“You’d be surprised at how many couples book a stay at The Daily Planet,” Lois tells us. “When I first started, I thought only single men would be the clients, but I was wrong.”
Some rooms are themed for enjoyment. “The Roman and Grecian rooms are both worth visiting,” says David.  “Both contain marble-lined eight-person spas, twin king-size beds, and marble Roman columns and Greek Parthenon columns, respectively.”
All suites have TVs with access to X-rated movies, sport and news channels. “For bucks parties, we usually recommend The Presidential Suite, just because of how big it is.”
However, Sugar, a busty young brunette who works at The Daily Planet, reveals that there is another room guests should consider: “The Mediterranean Room has three large beds, a big spa, and plenty of mirrors. We usually have a stack of fun when there’s a group booking in this room!”

THE LADIES

“The Daily Planet family is huge!” confirms Lois. There are about 30 non-sex workers, including receptionists, hostesses, bar staff and towel staff, and “100-150 working girls on a rotational roster. The girls have an average age of 25.”

The girls include Kiera, a 6’2” model with tanned skin, long brown hair, toned legs and, according to Lois: “a fun personality to fulfil all your desires, with pleasure”.

And then there is Jazz, a Spanish/New Zealand beauty who is both slender and busty, blonde, with porcelain skin and big green eyes. What I’m trying to say is that you will surely find a lady you like at The Daily Planet.”

“We all love it here,” says Sugar. “I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else, and I’m sure a lot of the other girls feel the same way.”
