THE EVENT
Film buffs keen to attend Reel Anime 2010 screenings—which screen from September 2 to 22, depending on country and city—can get up-to-date screening information at: www.madman.com.au/reelanime/details/
Meanwhile, enjoy a sneak preview of the featured 2010 Reel Anime titles:
Evangelion 2.0 — Part Two of the ‘rebuild’ — of one of the greatest ‘Giant Robot’ stories ever told. But don’t fret if you have to see Part One because Evangelion 1.0 is scheduled to screen throughout the festival.
King Of Thorn — After a petrifying virus threatens humanity, selected people are put into stasis. However, when they awake, they discover that the facility has been overrun by monsters.
Redline — Picture a bizarre outer-space race where competitors will cheat and kill to win. Sound cool? Wait til you see the amazingly detailed visuals! This death race just got a whole lot better.
Summer Wars — A unique and touching story about a modern-day samurai family, a sham relationship, and an A.I. that escapes its game world to threaten us all.
