Readers may need a few minutes before they recognise Kobe, but we’re sure the memory (wank) bank will push the buzzer sooner or later. You see, the leopard-skin wearing lass from our March 2005 issue has been domesticated and her elegant new environs have left her purring.

“Oh yes, much better. It was much easier to shoot in there,” she smiles. ” The natural scene was fun, but give me luxury any time!  We went for a more upmarket and glamorous look, so it was good for me.”

But that’s not to say Kobe looks down on her previous adventure: “I’d done a few shoots before, but the girl next door assignment was a breakthrough for me. I’ve had people recognise me from it, and that has certainly given me a lot of confidence and made me feel a lot more comfortable in front of the camera.”

This is particularly good news, as Kobe is a photographer’s assistant who wants to step behind the camera eventually. “Photography has always been a passion, and hopefully my experience will encourage lots of other girls to pose for Australian Penthouse.”
