Emma Brown – 2005 Pet of the Year
The competition was hotter than ever for the 2005 Australian Penthouse Pet Of The Year, but there could be only one winner…and 23-year-old Emma, who first graced our pages in September 2004, is a worthy recipient of Australia’s most prestigious title in nude modelling.
“Winning the Pet Of The Year award is like reaching the highest peak of achievement in my field,” says Emma. “Australian Penthouse has a very important role at newsstands – it gives our men and women quality reading and viewing at the same time. This title was always a dream for me, and now it’s a reality! I couldn’t be happier.”
High praise indeed, especially when you consider the other titles this Perth pussycat already has under her belt, including Miss Nude WA, Miss Exotic Angel WA and the national crown for Best Legs. But it may in fact be the determination and focus shown by our favourite Pet that secured her the title.
“I am hoping I expressed myself as who I really am,” Emma says. “I am a classy girl who sets goals and goes after them. I won’t settle for less. I have managed to achieve everything I set out to achieve in the last three years and I feel that my ambition, honesty and drive are qualities that got me here…well, apart from the obvious!”
So how does a guy get to, ahem, enjoy the obvious?
“My perfect man would have to be my hardest achievement ever,” she says. “He would definitely have to be a hard worker – a labourer of some kind – a man who gets his hands dirty.
“He would be handsome in a rough way, with a strong, energetic personality. The most important thing for me is trust – although it can’t hurt to have a big, nasty V8 Commodore to push me over the edge!”
Yep, sounds like a fair deal to us! So what are you planning now that you’ve won?
“I’m planning a tour around Australia so I can meet and greet all the fans,” Emma reveals. “I really want to make the most of being Pet Of The Year, and show Australian men what a real woman is made of.”
The camera never lies… Finally, what does the future hold for our 2005 Pet Of The Year?
“To be honest, I really don’t know – I guess we’ll wait and see,” she laughs. “But for now, let me just say a big ‘thank you’ to the readers of Australian Penthouse for their support. And if you’re ever in Perth, drop in and see me in the flesh!”
Western Australia Tourism would be proud: you’ve just provided the most compelling reason to cross the country.
