Digital Playground star Stoya on double-penetration, her role in new hardcore spoof Top Guns, and the ‘perversion fairy’
What path did you take to get in to porn?
Most of my early work came from friends and personal recommendations to other people. At some point, Digital Playground saw some of my photographs and lured me in to their office with the promise of Sophia Santi. She’s gorgeous. They picked the best bait ever!
Once I was there, director Robby D asked me about shooting with boys. Everyone at the office seemed so professional, and Robby was so entertaining, so I went home and seriously thought about the potential repercussions of entering hardcore adult entertainment. A week or so later, I called Digital Playground and told them I was into it, and they said, “Sign here.”
You recently started doing double-penetration scenes. How did that come about?
I had been curious about being DPd for quite some time, but finding two men outside the adult industry who are (a) interested in penetrating female orifices and (b) completely comfortable with the idea of being in very close proximity to another man’s penis, as well as getting them in the same room as my vagina and rectum, is comparable to herding cats.
Fortunately, I work in porn – where every sexual dream can be fulfilled. I began asking my favourite male performers who they worked best with and the consensus was that Steve Holmes was the best anchor (the cock mainly on the bottom, and usually in the bottom as well) and James Deen was the other man for the job. The only problem was I insist on meeting performers before I work with them, and I’d never met Steve Holmes.
While I was lamenting this fact to James Deen and Joanna Angel, Steve appeared as if by magic! In reality, we were all in Las Vegas for the Adult Entertainment Expo, so it was only a matter of time before he popped up, but I prefer to think of him as a sexy miracle wrought by the perversion fairy. James took us all upstairs and Joanna generously shared the bounty of her knowledge, demonstrating the proper way to be double-penetrated and giving me filthy words of encouragement. It was wonderful!
You’ve just finished filming a new Digital Playground blockbuster called Top Guns. Can you tell us about that before you go?
Top Guns is going to be amazing. Robby D and Joone took us out to the middle of the desert and we spent two solid weeks shooting an epic adult film that may rival Pirates in scale of production. We play military jet pilots in a spoof of Top Gun. It was a lot of work, but finally getting to touch Kayden Kross’s vagina made it all worth it.
