Beautiful Brooke was always going to be hard to beat for the title of Australian Penthouse Pet Of The Year. Her thoroughly sexy and seductive pictorial in the February 2004 issue more than highlighted her ample charms.

Moreover, it showed her adaptability. Under the direction of photographer Richard Arthur, Brooke demonstrated how to make the transformation from corporate hot-shot to sexy siren by stripping off her power suit and spectacles for our cameras.

However, winning the title was the last thing on her mind as she posed for those photos.

“I just wanted to make a great impression on your readers,” says Brooke. “Just to appear and have the shoot turn out so well was great, but being crowned Pet Of The Year…I’m over the moon! It’s a dream come true for this Gold Coast girl.”

What motivated you to become a Penthouse Pet?

Women are sensual creatures. I’m in touch with my sexuality and I found posing for Australian Penthouse liberating and incredibly sexy.

Did you fancy your chances of winning?

All the contestants are so beautiful, but I gave myself every chance of winning by working hard on my body in the lead up to the shoot. I don’t do anything by half measures.

What does the title mean to you?

Everything. Australian Penthouse is a great magazine that allows women to express their individuality. And the girls always look so glamorous. I’m ecstatic that for the next 12 months I will be the public face of the magazine. I’m going to do my very best to continue the great tradition started 25 years ago by the first Pet Of The Year in promoting the magazine. And it will be great to thank all those readers who like my photos – maybe even personally.

Speaking of which, what does a guy have to do to get your attention?

Just be good fun! Like any girl, I’m impressed by a man with style and confidence, but it’s the one who makes me laugh that I want to hang around with, go out with, and – if I get the right vibe – who knows?
