James Bond fans may recognise the bikini and thigh holster being worn by April Penthouse Pet Kate. It was inspired by the scene with actress Ursula Andress in Dr No, and the more recently sexily copied by Halle Berry in Die Another Day fitting attire, we think for 21-year-old beauty Kate who admits to a love of adventure with a touch of intrigue.

“This was my very first nude shoot and i was a little apprehensive,” she says. “I’m not exactly a seasoned veteran.” Nor is she particularly familiar with the Bond girls of yesteryear though she could see herself opposite Pierce Brosnan, aka Agent 007. And the Aston Martin as a preferred means of transportation? Forget about it!

I’ll take a racing yacht any time. I loved being pampered aboard the 35-foot, half-a million-dollar craft, especially below deck in the sleeping quarters. And i loved jumping off the bow and having a swim in the cool water.”

You can keep your secret agent gadgets, too. Kate prefers suntan lotion and a pair of flippers to radion wristwatches and poison pens. Sorry Q.

“During the photo shoot I fantasised about being with my man, that he was a secret agent sent to protect me against the forces of evil…and to give me some loving, of course.”

It must have worked too, as Kate looked sexily aglow when she returned to dry land, Stirred, but definitely not shaken.
