After a much publicised shooting ordeal, 2009 Pet of the Year Emma Gibbs is back where she belongs – nude on a boat!

Run us through what happened on the night you were shot last December.
I can’t go into too much depth as there is still an ongoing police investigation. I was shot from behind, so unfortunately I don’t know who shot me or how it happened. The media had the wrong information and no credible source that was close to my family, as they claimed.
How do you respond to the media misinformation?
I wasn’t partying with “bikies”, as they said. Also, I was shot in the back, not the leg or thigh, as they reported.
Did you need much hospitalisation and rehabilitation?
I had to learn to walk again. I spent most of the summer in hospital, and my last operation was in May. I’m lucky to be alive.
Changing the subject to happier times, was this aquatic photoshoot more like work or pleasure?
It was work and pleasure at the same time. We were in the Whitsundays for a few days, so when we weren’t shooting, we’d take a break and have seafood for dinner.
Nice. Do you have any unfulfilled fantasies?
My aim in life is to try everything once, and I’m pretty sure I’ve tried most things at least once.
What’s your biggest turn-on?
A guy who’s not too cocky, but also not too much of a pussy.
How can a girl catch your eye?
She has to be one of those brunettes who makes you want to turn your head two or three times. It’s very hard for a brunette to turn on a very sexy look; it’s much easier for a blonde.

Emma’s looking much hotter these days than when she won in 2009. I was never really impressed in 2009 and thought there were better sorts that year. However, this pictorial is breathtaking and all complements to her.
