Tell us about yourself, Missy.
I was born in Cali, Colombia, I’m 27, 5’4” and a 10E cup size. I dance, not in clubs but for various agencies in Sydney, and I run Fuscia Entertainment.

What is Fuscia Entertainment?
It’s basically a party concierge service. We offer a service that allows people to call us at any time to organise a party for them. All we need is a basic idea of things such as budget and numbers, and then we create a party that everyone enjoys.

What kind of parties do you cater to?
Well, we have access to private boats, venues, function rooms and hotels, so it could be anything. The service is really good for any busy person who has to organise something at the last minute. It could be a hen’s night, a birthday party, or even office drinks to entertain clients. We do it all.

Interesting. What led you down that track?
I originally wanted to be a personal assistant, but every assistant I talked to hated their boss or their job—sometimes both. Next on my list was entrepreneur. I’ve always thought that creating a business and watching it grow would lead to a real sense of fulfilment. I also knew that in order to do well I would need to choose something I was passionate about, and I’ve always been excited about a good party. Fuscia Entertainment (www.thinkfuscia.com) was born in August 2010.

What did you do before you started the business?
I was a sales rep, an office manager, an accounts clerk, a nanny… and I was the youngest person ever to work as a bank teller for ANZ; I was 16.
