THE MOVIE

Based on the best-selling novel by Scandinavian noir sensation Jo Nesbo, Headhunters is an intense and entertaining thriller packed with twists. Roger Brown (Aksel Hennie) is an elite headhunter who finances his lavish lifestyle by stealing from his clients.

At a gallery opening, Roger’s glamororus wife, Diana (Synnove Macody Lund) introduces him to Clas Greve (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Game Of Thrones). Not only is Greve the perfect candidate for a position that Roger is recruiting for; he is also in possession of The Calydonian Boar Hunt painting by Peter Paul Rubens, one of the most sought-after works in modern art.

Roger sees his opportunity to become financially independent and begins to plan his most audacious theft. But he quickly runs into trouble–and it’s not financial problems that are threatening to knock him over this time. Special Features on both formats include the featurette, ‘Behind Headhunters‘.

Game of Skill

Competition commences on 16/07/12 and concludes on 09/08/12 at 12:00pm. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, but excludes all employees of Australian Penthouse. Entrants must provide their contact details and an answer to the question, “What job would you like to be headhunted for, and why?” in 25 words or less. This is a Game of Skill which contains no element of chance, and which will be judged by members of the Australian Penthouse staff on 09/08/12. Ten winners will receive a copy of Headhunters on Blu-ray or DVD, as detailed above. Prizes will be mailed to winners at the address nominated in their entries. The promoters take no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries, and no correspondence will be entered into.
