Sizzling Sydneysider, Emma, 25, is a Miss Universe finalist…who decided to go one better and become our August 2009 Pet of the Month!
Tell us about how you became a finalist in the 2007 Miss Universe pageant…
It’s a bit of a blur. I was approached by someone involved with the pageant, and they asked if I wanted to fly to Perth to compete. So I did.
Surrounded by nubile babes… Did you enjoy the experience?
Actually, it was really stressful and I was super busy the entire time. I was judged on how I looked in a cocktail dress, evening gown and swimwear.

To be Pet of the Month is such an honour. It’s all been so much fun! I’ve always loved glamour and glitz.
Do you have any tips to offer aspiring Pets?
You must have confidence in yourself. If you can talk to people and hold an interesting conversation while letting your personality shine through, that makes you sexy. Oh, and buy really good lip gloss!
Besides Miss Universe, have you entered any other contests?
I used to compete in aerobics competitions. A couple of years ago, I won the Queensland State Championships.
Ahem… Does that mean you’re quite flexible?
Very. I can place my legs behind my head. That’s my favourite position…
