There are FIVE packs up for grabs, each containing the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD of the Watchmen movie and a copy of the original graphic novel, signed by legendary comic artist, Dave Gibbons (see our interview with Dave).

For those who came in late, Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 America, where costumed superheroes are commonplace and the ‘Doomsday Clock’, which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union, is permanently set at five minutes to midnight.

When a retired hero called The Comedian (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the film) is murdered, his former crime-fighting colleague, Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley), suspects a conspiracy and sets out to get to the bottom of it. The movie also stars Billy Crudup as the über-powerful Dr Manhattan and Malin Ackerman as the über-sexy Silk Spectre II.

Competition commences on 7/08/09 and concludes on 18/09/09. Entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18, but excludes all employees of Australian Penthouse. Entrants must provide their contact details and an answer to the question, “Which superpower would you like, and why?” in 25 words or less. This is a game of skill which contains no element of chance, and which will be judged by members of the Australian Penthouse staff on 21/08/09. Five winners will receive one pack each. Prizes will be mailed to winners at the address nominated in their entry. The promoters take no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries, and no correspondence will be entered into.
