One of the greatest perks—pardon the pun—in working for Australian Penthouse is meeting some truly special people. Our April cover girl, Kobe, needs no introduction to regular readers. After all, she is the Girl Next Door who graduated to fully fledged sex goddess when she became Pet of the Month in November 2005.

Which means that labelling this 27-year-old Melbourne lass merely ‘special’ would be, well, inadequate. So if you have ever wanted to meet a woman who scores 13 out of 10 on every level of the ‘what’s she like?’ scale, then Kobe is your gal. Seriously—she’s got it all! Listen up, because here’s an example of having all the right answers in all the right places…

Is it hard work looking that fine?
“Ha, ha! It can be, but this shoot was easy! We shot it in a little cottage with a big fireplace and cute little kitchen. I found it very cosy and sexy. Not a bad day at work, really.”

It sounds taxing. What do you do to relax?
“Well, I love watching movies, especially comedies like Anchorman and Zoolander – corny, I know! But True Romance is the best; that’s a passion. I’m also into four-wheel driving, as long as I’m the passenger, and anything near the water or the tropics suits me, too.”

Is that where you’re headed?
“One day I’d love to move to North Queensland; it’s so amazing and I think it’s a beautiful place to grow old. But modelling is too important to me now. Plus, I’m about to launch my own website www.kobekaige.com.”

Is that where you’ll show us your special talents? Are you double-jointed, for example?
“Sorry, nothing like that. But I am known to move a lot like a cat, purrr…”

You identify yourself with a cat?
“Very funny… No! More like Brigitte Bardot or Raquel Welch or Sophia Loren or Bettie Page. They’re so strong and independent, and represent the fantasy woman. I would love to hold their grace and strength!”

So that’s the dream?
“In a way. Basically, I want to make it on my own—I’d never feel comfortable with someone handing everything to me. And I want to show all women that they’re sexy. We’re all goddesses!”

Perhaps not all…whereas you, on the other hand. So how does a goddess handle the attention?
“Well every woman wants to be admired. Though I’m not a flaunter generally, I seem to get a lot of attention as I have long thick hair, big lips and a bust line. I like it as long as it’s respectful and not invasive! I don’t mind women looking, too—they’re the hardest to please!”

Well in that lingerie, it was love at first sight for us!
“Lust at first sight, you mean! Love follows if the chemistry is right.”
