September 1988 Pet of the Month, Bridget Bloxsom
-Castaway-
Sydney native Bridget Bloxsom, 22, went wild for the Penthouse cameras, finding herself a primitive castaway in the wilderness of the Whitsunday islands. Robinson Crusoe fantasies aside – for a moment – Bridget reported that she even felt like a native after a few days in these outfits and the spectacular surroundings. Natural instincts came to the fore: “Though my first instinct was to see the humour in it,” she laughs.

Bridget prefers not to take things too seriously, but even so she found her work cut out for her, baring all for the camera.
“I know some people wouldn’t believe it, but this is the hardest kind of modelling there is.”
Bridget does have a serious side though. There’s no joking when it comes to sport – she readily admits she’s a fanatic. Cricket and footy on the tube is her forte, though nothing beats a day getting value from her SCG membership. Just one thing more would make her life complete, she says: “If anyone’s feeling generous, a Sports Ground membership is my top priority…”
It’s a sense of humour that will make a man appealing to her.
“I’m not into pretty, pretentious men. I like unusual things but not overstated.”
“If there’s such a thing as a typical Penthouse Pet I don’t think I’m it,” she smiles. “I hate the idea of fitting into any scene or classification.”
