July 2006 Pet of the Month, Jewell
Ah-har! Our masts are straining, the sails are full and the hold is stuffed with tropical riches… Ah, bugger it, this pirate routine is too difficult to keep up. And besides, who needs fancy words when you’ve got Jewell to look at? We’ll just give you the facts.

This West Indian beauty is of Anglo-Celtic-Chinese-Portuguese-African-Indian stock, and she’s a walking, talking tribute to multiculturalism. We’re not alone in thinking that, either, as she’s a past winner of the Queen of Grenada and Miss Caribbean crowns.
And there’s brains behind this beauty: Jewell studied medicine at one of Grenada’s renowned colleges and paid her way doing catalogue modelling before following her Aussie ex-boyfriend south “for a holiday”.
“I was actually supposed to head back to get ready for the Miss Universe competition before returning to school, but once I got here it was like, ‘Nah, I can’t be bothered’,” she giggles. “My parents couldn’t believe it – they were like, ‘What?!!’ But I just liked it here too much.” So Jewell got a marketing job and did modelling while sorting out her residency status. Her knockout curves also won her a Miss Fitness NSW title, and as a result “the clothes [on the modelling jobs] got smaller and smaller…” – until they disappeared altogether.
“And I looove glamour modelling!” she gasps. “It’s more out there, more real. I love the human body and I’m proud of what I’ve got. I worked hard to get into Australian Penthouse and I’m so happy with how this shoot looks: luxurious, sexy, womanly – I want to be a real woman for all the real men out there.”
If those sentiments (and these pics) haven’t loaded your meatmusket, try these on for size: “I like a man to take charge. I’ll already be comfortable with him by this stage, so I don’t want him to be asking me about every move he wants to make… I guess I prefer to receive, but there’s give and take in all these things, right?”
