“I thought of doing it myself. No-one pushed me,” she reports. “I started modelling as a child, but gave it away when I was 17.”

Now 20, Rachel steps back into the limelight in a big way…

Rachel is the sort of girl who finds herself impelled towards people — but her alluring shyness and reticence sometimes makes it hard for her to break the ice. “I always prefer to meet people through other people,” she says.

“Sure, I’m probably a bit shy and reserved,” Rachel admits. “I tend to keep to myself.” Maybe this picture is not everyone’s idea of the personality behind such dazzling photos, but Rachel’s understated elegance is full of surprises…

Her ideal man? “Someone’s who’s out through the day but home at night. Someone who can stand on his own two feet.”

Rachel says she’s the kind of person attracted to people for their nature, and not neccarily as other people see them. “Even if it was Mel Gibson, I’d have to take him for who he was — and not as others see him.”
