New Zealand school teacher Rachel Whitwell, 26, has her career on the line due to the saucy Aussie Babes modelling photos she sent us, but the sexy stunner isn’t afraid of the uptight minority, and she’s ready to set the record straight. According to some, you’ve been a very bad girl. Can you tell us what happened?
I entered the Aussie Babes competition on the Australian Penthouse website and posted some raunchy pictures of myself. A New Zealand journalist saw the photos and wrote a story about it because I’m a primary school teacher by day. The images were taken to the New Zealand Teachers Council, and I was notified that the Board will now decide whether I’ll be struck from the register or not.

Did you have any inkling that your photos would create such a huge controversy?
No! I submitted the photos because I don’t have a problem with being nude, and I think the female body is great. I just wanted to see if Penthouse liked my look enough to consider putting me in the magazine.

We did! So, what now?
I’ve had so much support through all of this—which has been fantastic. Even if I’m not de-registered, I don’t think I’ll teach again. I love it, and I think I’m a great teacher, but if I want to show off my body, I want to be able to do it. I’ve realised that I like being my own boss, so I’ll probably start up a new business; I’m a real entrepreneur.

You have an amazing figure. Is it a lecacy from your days as a pole-dancing instructor?
Yes, that was a couple of years ago—it was a really enjoyable time. I also designed poles, and owned my own pole-dancing school.

Would you consider posing again for Australian Penthouse?
For sure! If the opportunity arises, I’d love to; it’s been a dream of mine to be a Pet of the Month.
