WOW, I can’t believe it’s almost time for Pet Of The Year 2013… it’s seems like it was only a few weeks ago I was out as March Pet of the Month but the calendar says it was 7 months ago!  Well, I have had a great time… dancing in NZ and the Pet Party at Hollywoood on the GC, featuring in Perth & my benefit night at Minx in Sydney and of course shooting so many of Aussie babes and international stars.  It’s been a real honour to be a Pet and it’s amazing what doors open when you say you’re with Australian Penthouse Mag

I’m flying down to Melbourne tomorrow morning so see you all there and of course best wishes and good luck to the 6 other beautiful Pets who will also be performing at tomorrows big show.

Well it’s down to the last week before the big POTY party at Centerfold Lounge in Melbourne this Friday!!! It’s gonna be a great bunch of shows so if you don’t have your tix get them now.  I (along with all the other Pets I’m sure) have been feverishly busy trying to get ready… I’ve gone through a bunch of ideas as to what to wear (if you’ve been following my posts you will have seen some of my concepts) but have now finally finalized everything so it’s been a busy couple days sourcing things and refreshing my sewing skills:

Hey everyone… Just got into Melbourne this morning – cold but no rain so that good  I got to fly in on the new super jumbo which was cool but I couldn’t find the swimming pool LOL.  Anyway, I have a really cool shoot to plan here so it will be a busy day! xo

I’ve been lucky to have the chance to take a few refresher dance sessions over the last month at a great local studio… today was my last one and I think I have learned at least a few new moves for POTY.

Three weeks left till POTY so it’s time to decide on an outfit…  I had some time on the plane to think of a couple ideas and do some sketches and I came up with ‘Sailor Girl’

or ‘Lil Bo Peep’

I’m up in northern Oregon posting from the woods tonight!!  On my journey, I came across Bigfoot in the wild & managed to sneak a photo (not many people are able to capture him on film – LOL).

I was stunned so I guess he used that as an opportunity to cop a feel before he headed back into the woods – lucky guy:)

It look like it’s gonna be a wild weekend LOL.. I’m back shooting in LA on Sunday and then back home to the Gold Coast on Wednesday… can’t wait!!

ps – 22 days till POTY

Today is my last night class at JDPW!  It’s been a great course, intensive over the last month but worth it.  I took some photography courses back in college and later did some summer work at Brooks but this has been a great opportunity to link it all together with some more overarching theory.  Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to shoot with some of the legends in the industry (Holly, Arny, Hank, Earl) & I really find it’s sometimes theory that helps me go back and appreciate their techniques even more.  LEARNING IS SO SEXY!  (I think I even had a bit of a crush on my instructor – he was so experienced LOL)

So in celebration of brains here is my first product shot with a large format camera:

Now I’m done my classes, I have just a couple more shoots and then will be back home to OZ next week YAY.  I’m going to be featuring in the Melbourne area for sure before POTY and possibly a few other places so watch this space for more news and remember #teamcasssidy for POTY + please vote for me if you haven’t already at:

OMG it’s Saturday (at least over here) so that’s 4 weeks till POTY  I just had a relaxing day finally so time to sit down and plan the upcoming month.  Anyway, good luck to everyone and can’t wait to get back and see you all!! xoxo Cass

Afternoon everyone  It’s still Sunday for me so thought I would let you know what I got up to for my one day off!!!  I had to do some prop shopping this morning but then I headed out to Malibu for a few hours on the beach…  I’ve been playing around with a waterproof video camera a friend gave me so check out my first video post!!!
