Audrey Kawasaki launches national tour

U.S. artist Audrey Kawasaki will unveil a slew of new original artworks and limited edition prints in her show Tangled throughout October and November.
Outré Gallery will tour Tangled, a collection of original artworks plus new and rare prints by Ms Kawasaki at its Melbourne, Sydney and Perth galleries.
Audrey’s innocent and erotic visions of femininity are drawn from the artist’s Japanese heritage. The artist’s perfected visions of exotic Lolitas provide a touch of whimsy that when combined with the natural grain of the wood panels that she paints on, provide an unexpected warmth to the works.
This is Audrey’s second Australian exhibition following her 2009 showcase, and the first where the artist has accompanied her work from the U.S. This year’s show offers a suite of original paintings created especially for this exhibition, as well prints exclusive to Outré.

Audrey Kawasaki will visit both the Melbourne and Sydney Outré galleries.
