Get ready for your highway to the pleasure zone as Digital Playground lampoons the 1986 Bruckheimer classic, Top Gun.
Covering the plot and starlets in broad strokes, Jesse Jane heads up a team of super sexy wing-women at odds with their cock-sure male counterparts at this training ground for US pilots. The attention to detail is to be commended, not so much for following the original’s storyline or a shot for shot recreation, but more towards setting the tone, overall look and how the flight sequences are handled. Whether it’s the motorcycle ride along as a fighter takes flight or the mock dogfights, all are instantly recognisable and convincingly look the part.
The serenade bar scene is whittled down to a bathroom jaunt as Jesse works her feminine wiles to perfection. As the sexual tension builds between crews, they let off steam by recreating the iconic volleyball sequence with a guys-versus-gals twist as Kayden Kross pays the price for her team’s loss in the locker room.
The entire cast seems completely at ease with each other and really let go, adding to the intensity of each scene. The climax (in all senses of the word) is a post sortie, celebratory reverse gangbang as one lucky co-pilot docks with the entire squadron of honeys before they go to work on each other.
The special features are well worth a look, with a great impromptu POV bonus scene as Jesse and Riley get caught warming up and go to town on the cameraman, a featurette on the surprisingly decent FX and a hilarious blooper reel to top things off.
Watch out for the guns, they’ll get you.
